Ready for another day!
The ocean looks great this morning!
"Felt good to sleep...and now breakfast!"
Elke's eyes look like she could use some more sleep though...
"Nothing a little coffee won't clear up!"
"Okay, let's go...I want to go to the pool!"
The surprise when we got back to our room.
Beautiful, ísn't it? Kissing swans with a heart from flower petals.
Walking along Zihuatanejo's streets
Hotel Irma
Bananas growing along the way
Down by the water at Playa la Madera
Playa la Madera in Zihuatanejo
Along the water line
And looking back
What a great place to have a house!
Some of this day's catch at Playa Municipal
The fishermen are spreading out some of their catch
The red one is one BIG fish!
A pelican undisturbed by the powerboat going by
These guys are outstanding fishermen!
The marina of Zihuatanejo
Water taxis transporting people to other areas of the coastline.
In the background, lush but steep mountains
And palm trees everywhere!
Our visiting gecko, whom Elke named Sam
Taking a break from the water
Before dinner, enjoying the swans again!
Beautiful, aren't they?
Club Intrawest was built on a steep hill.
The architecture is truly beautiful
Did we mention we haven't regretted joining Club Intrawest for one day?
You could almost jump in the pool from our room!
Dinner in Zi Bar while hair is air-drying!
Mom with her new Mexican silver jewelry
It's great to have such a handsome son :-)
And such a handsome husband, too!
The next evening: Dinner at a local Mexican restaurant. Nick thought the singer looked like Pedro from "Napoleon Dynamite" ;-) !
